Operations and Scheduling Supervisor Job at Community Living Wallaceburg
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 year post secondary education gained through Community College Diploma or University Degree with specialization in Human Services, Human Resources or related field of study
4-6 years progressive experience within the Developmental Services or related sector; supervisory experience an asset. Knowledge of a computerized scheduling system is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies.
Strong analytical, decision-making skills combined with attention to detail ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Valid certificate in First-Aid, Cardiovascular Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Safe Management are required or willing to be trained at own expense
Valid Class “G” driver’s licence, one million dollar automobile liability insurance and a reliable vehicle for use at work are required.
Criminal conviction background search including vulnerable sector screening
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French language and American Sign Language proficiency considered an asset
HOURS OF WORK:
Normal hours of work will be an on-call rotation of 7 days on, 7 days off from 4:30 pm to 8:30 am weekdays and 4:30 pm Friday to 8:30 am Monday when on. The Supervisor will also be required to be in the office during the on-call week for 6 hours (schedule to be determined).
