Note: This is a regular part-time position (up to 24 hours per week). This competition is open to external applicants and all employees of Fanshawe College; however, applications from Regular Part-time (RPT) members of the Part-time Support Staff bargaining unit will be given first consideration.

Duties: Under the supervision of the Associate Registrar, the incumbent provides front-line customer service, clerical support and administrative support to Financial Aid and Student Awards

Duties will include:
  • Front-line Student Service – In-Person, Phone or Email
  • Scanning documentation
  • OSAP document processing
  • General clerical responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary 1-year certificate/diploma with preference given to candidates with certificate/diploma in Office Administration, Business, Accounting or similar field
  • Minimum 1-year experience gained as a front-line person in a customer service-oriented environment
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
