Parts Delivery Driver Job at CARTER GM - PARTS DEPARTMENT
Carter GM in Burnaby is a busy car dealership looking for a full time parts delivery driver.
40 hrs/week, benefits offered after 3 months, with the potential for advancement.
Primary responsibilities of a delivery driver include:
- Driving a company vehicle to deliver automotive parts to our customers
- Picking up parts for our mechanics, as well as returns & cores from customers.
- Recording daily delivery records on a drivers' log (ie. customer name & invoice number, date delivered, etc)
- Collecting payment from customers on C.O.D.
- Placing new stock on shelves or racks
- General warehouse cleaning (ie sweeping floors, taking out garbage, etc)
Ideal candidate must have:
- Valid BC drivers' license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Punctuality, reliability, strong work ethic, & initiative.
- Applicant must be willing/able to lift or move heavy parts, since we deliver everything from gaskets to engines.
- Ability to work well under pressure, both independently, as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving ability
- Customer service skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.50 per hour
