Responsibilities include:
- Managing Executive’s calendar and monitor emails to ensure any high priority items are addressed, and where possible, emails are rerouted
- Organizing meetings, events, conference calls – creating and preparing agenda materials; managing meeting minutes as required, assigning action items to ensure accountability and follow through
- Provide ongoing Administrative support as right-hand to company President, capturing meeting details and action items, tracking progress on projects, supporting communication delivery and providing assistance researching various business opportunities in support of the leadership team
- Managing confidential information, including executive files and financials
- Assisting with corporate communications and presentations
- Support various business functions as required
Qualifications you bring:
- 3+ years of experience within an Administrative/Assistant capacity
- Self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills with ability to multi-task and handle changing/competing priorities
- Proactive and results-oriented
- A high level of proficiency of MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of minute-taking; ability to research and present information in a concise and professional manner
- Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently under pressure as well as part of a team
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues and individuals at all levels of the organization
- Critical thinking, good judgment and decision-making abilities
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm and drive for results
- Attention to detail and accuracy in everything they do
- An interest in learning more about the day-to-day operations of a business
- A post-secondary education in Business or related subject is a definite asset
