We will count on you to:
Respond to client requests and inquiries across a number of channels in a prompt and professional manner and process timely and accurate completion and/or submission of client requests in accordance with carrier guidelines.
Analyze, counsel and recommend coverages, identify and fill coverage gaps, identify cross sell opportunities etc.
Provide quotations, explain and select coverages based on a thorough needs analysis, prepare applications and submit in accordance with carrier guidelines and timelines
Complete annual renewal reviews to ensure client needs from coverage and pricing perspective are maintained
Obtain claims information in an empathetic, accurate and delicate manner and submit to the carrier in a timely manner
Re-underwrite files to ensure policy information and documentation remains up to date.
What you need to have:
Preferred RIBO licensed or the ability to obtain it along with other provincial licenses (except Quebec) no exams are needed to obtain other provincial licenses
College/university degree considered an asset
1+ years’ work experience in personal lines insurance or if you are new to the industry you are welcomed to apply
Position starts on the 10-6 shift with the ability to graduate to an earlier shift as business needs shift. Note: all employees are required to participate in the late shift rotation once per week.(12-7pm)
Home office space with reliable high speed internet

Experience working in a call center environment
Experience with a Broker Management System (TAM)
Previous customer service experience
Working towards the completion of CAIB and/or CIP
