Pharmacy Assistant/Technician Job at Indigo Pharmacy
Indigo Pharmacy Group has an opportunity for a full-time pharmacy assistant or technician to join our expanding team in a highly clinical and integrated community pharmacy environment. The successful applicant will work closely with the pharmacist and medical clinic staff to provide optimal patient care.
Duties:
- Facilitate prescription dispensing using Kroll software
- Preparation and scheduling of patient medication reviews
- Accessing and modifying patient information within medical clinic EMR
- Inventory management and drug ordering/reconciliation
- Coordinating with Pharmacare and third-party payers to organize drug coverage and access
- Administrative and clerical duties as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Experience with third-party plans is an asset
- Compression stocking certification is an asset
- The ability to work independently
- Interest in efficiency optimization
Position Details:
- No evenings and weekends
- The successful applicant will work in the New Westminster location but may occasionally be required to work in either Vancouver locations
