WE ARE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED LEAD HANDS!
Main Functions:
- Complete pick ups and deliveries of equipment
- load/unload transport construction material
- Provide manual labour assistance on various tasks and assignments
- Preform general construction equipment activities, as required
- Assist heavy equipment operators, foreman, and supervisors
- Assist in initial set up and clean up of sites
- Joist/rigging per safety standards
- Operate ancillary equipment- wheel loaders/skid steers
- Participate in daily hazards assessments, tail gate meetings, and company safety meetings
- Maintain company vehicle standards set out by Viking Projects Ltd
- Complete daily vehicle checklists
- Operate vehicle in safe and professional manner
- Assist welders and pipefitters as required
- direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to location needs
- other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Great degree of manual dexterity
- Able to interpret and execute complex instructions
- Experience (training) in Heavy Equipment Operations an asset
- Can clearly communicate in written and verbal
- Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple and changing Priorities
- Detail oriented
- Strong drive to complete assigned task and projects
- High integrity
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel
