Your Role & Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced end to end Planner who has a very strong growth mindset and a can-do culture of doing what it takes to win. We’re looking for someone who thrives in balancing brand, consumer, customers, with the ambition to deliver a substantial step up in profitable growth of the current perimeter.
You will play a crucial role in the S&OP process, ensuring that you are supporting the commercial strategy and vision through the delivery of an accurate SKU/channel level forecast taking into account information from key stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Marketing) and you will play a crucial role in the DSR process for all FG products in the Canadian market, ensuring that you are supporting the commercial strategy and vision through the delivery right capacity allocation and stock levels in the global supply network.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • E2E execution of Strategies of both Demand and Supply Planning Teams
  • Support collaboration with CD, Marketing, Finance to incorporate key marketing and trade initiatives into the demand & supply forecasts. Collaboration includes working with innovations planner to ensure repack requirements are captured, executed, and delivered to meet customer requirements. Works closely with 3rd party manufacturing (3PM) procurement to ensure proper levels of inventory to achieve the plan while ensuring inventory targets are still being met.
  • Leads S&OP, Forecasting and Promotion Planning to ensure all departments are aligned to business plan as well as challenging assumptions
  • Leads Demand Supply Reconciliation (DSR), sourcing and capacity planning for FGs to ensure the right stock and capacity are available to support the business plan; transforms the constrained FG forecast into a supply / requirement plan
  • Defines and develops both a Constrained FG forecast and an Unconstrained Forecast into the business plans including innovation, promotion and growth assumptions
  • Focus on long term capacity planning and create visibility on risks & opportunities
  • Exceed customer expectations by ensuring FG availability delivered through on time / in full order fulfilment
  • Owns and monitors Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias reporting and continuous improvement of Service Levels, Stocks, Waste, FA/FB
  • Works closely with Planning Control Tower teams for planning activities
  • Owns and monitors Capacity, Stocks, Waste reporting and continuous improvement of Service Levels, Stocks, Waste.
  • Ensures operational excellence and solution management for any supply risk & issues.
  • Coordinate Repack / Co-pack activities with key co-pack / repack suppliers
  • Owns all relevant master data requirements relating to supply planning.
  • Creates new analytics tools and automation; inputs into the sourcing projects based on the existing supply network
  • Support process hygiene and lead technology transformation where relevant


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in business, finance or supply chain management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Planning
  • Demonstrated analytical and conceptual problem-solving ability; excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure with autonomy
  • The ability to effectively lead and engage cross functional global teams and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to deliver results in a lean, agile organization and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience working with statistical forecasting software, operational experience of Demantra a plus
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience with SQL and/or PowerBI/Demantra a plus
