Powerline Technicians (Transmission Lines)
Work Scope:
Red Seal Journeyperson work as required (transmission lines)
Requirements: Valid G Licence, Electrical Awareness, First Aid, WHMIS, worked in trade in last 3 years. Red Seal certificate or equivalent, must have Ontario Working at Heights Training. Experienced and trained for the following tasks: Live Line Work up to 500kv ; Tower Climbing; Rigging; Hoisting, Operating off-road equipment. All mandated training, physical demand analysis.
Work Environment: outside work, rough terrain, high voltage electrical
Physical Demands: hearing, vision, walking, lifting (25kg), bending, climbing stairs, carrying (25kg 75m), standing/sitting for prolonged periods, climbing ladders/scaffolds, climbing vertical heights ( >15m), climbing vertical carrying (25kg), reading comprehension, fine finger movement.

Salary: $60.00-$62.00 per hour
