Mercana Furniture & Decor is a major manufacturer/wholesaler of home décor and furnishings. We design and manufacturer framed art, home décor accessories, mirrors, lighting, furniture and more. We are a family owned, Canadian company celebrating 40 years with strong growth in a stable industry.

Mercana is continuing to grow and is looking for Production Workers to join our in-house team at our head office in Surrey, BC. If you are detailed oriented and enjoy working in a dynamic work environment with a great group of people, this opportunity may be for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Paint MDF boards and materials required for art production and cut glass and mirrors
• Monitor the quality of products and ensure they are not damaged or defected
• Communicate with team leads on any quality issues that arise on a day-to-day basis
• Work on production line and ensure production targets are being maintained
• Follow all health and safety standards
• Maintain a clean workstation on the production flow
• Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed
• Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications

• Experience with exterior, interior painting preferred
• Ability to work on your feet for the entire duration of your shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• A strong team player with a positive and professional attitude
• Detailed oriented
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
