Our cooperative in order to continue to improve their processes is looking for a production supervisor for St-Laurent facility ! The production supervisor may have the ability to see beyond daily action, a sense of mobilization initiating change while being focused on continuous improvement. We are looking for the player who wants to build the future with us!
The supervisor we are looking for will actively participate in the continuous improvement program (AOS) (Agropur Operating system) of one or more production lines in addition to working with his team on a daily basis to maintain our operations.
More specifically:
Supervise the production technician team on their shift- Continue the development of our continuous improvement program (on one or more production lines)
- Develop line standards to improve the efficiency of our manufacturing processes
- Build and follow the action plan regarding the efficiency of production lines in collaboration with our teams
- Mobilize your team to be part of the solution to change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Understand that quality is an essential vector by ensuring the application of policies, procedures and instructions that meet the requirements of the quality system (BPF, SQF, HACCP)
- Act as a model in the management of major OHS programs (Lockout, confined space, ergonomics, WHMIS, etc.)
- Ensure the proper application of the collective agreement
- Supervise the sanitary maintenance of equipment
- Participate in different committees
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a field related to operations management or engineering- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a production supervisor
- Experience in a unionized environment & food industry, an asset
