Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing one or several projects (Development, Compliance or MDR/Remediation) from initial planning and scoping until project closure. You can expect to have end-to-end project responsibility to make sure that all agreed targets are met within the given target dates. You can expect to be accountable for the overall business case.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Ensuring that all project deliverables are successfully delivered according to Natus Quality Management System procedures.
• Staying up-to-date and following all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
• Scoping, budgeting, and managing the project.
• Planning and executing on milestone plans.
• Preparing and delivering project communications from team to management.
• Ensuring that relevant stakeholders are involved accordingly.
• Facilitating cooperation between R&D, Product Management and Global Operations in a matrix-like structure.
• Managing the suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors on projects where needed.
• Assisting in the development of documentation required by Engineering SOPs and national/international quality standards and regulations.
• Delivering medical device design documentation compliant with FDA and international design controls and good documentation practices.
• Travel Required: up to 25% domestic or international travel

In order to perform the responsibilities of this challenging role, the following qualifications are mandatory:

• Bachelor's degree in a field of engineering, life science or other relevant areas required; Master’s Degree preferred
• +5 years of project management experience within the medical device industry; program manager experience highly desirable
• 3 years of experience with medical device EU MDR Remediation and DHF remediation projects
• 3 years experience with medical device design control required

• 3 years experience with planning and managing the overall scope of engineering projects and related budgets
• Proven experience successfully leading global projects on deliverables, on budget, and in time for medical device company required.
• Skilled leader of cross-functional teams with senior specialists and highly skilled employees
• Knowledge across the entire product development process from the concept phase through development, regulatory approval, production setup and launch
• Strong communication skills
• Certified Scrum Master, PMP, or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is highly preferred

This position is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week) that will be based at Excel-Tech Corp.’s facility located at 2568 Bristol Circle, Oakville, Ontario, Canada, L6H 5S1 . Daily interactions and written communication will be conducted in English. The wage offered for this position will range between CAD $110,000 and CAD $130,000 depending on experience. Excel-Tech Corp. o ffers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefit package (disability, medical, dental, life insurance and vision care) paid holidays, generous paid time off plan (3 weeks to start, 7 sick days) discretionary bonus and tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 annually.
