Big O Tires is an independent, locally-owned automotive shop. We are currently looking for energetic, qualified, high-performing Automotive Technicians to join our dynamic team!
Expectations:
- Journeyman Licensed Automotive Technician
- Perform work as assigned on work orders with efficiency, safety, and accuracy in accordance with company policy, factory, and regulatory standards
- Ability to diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction and perform repairs as authorized in a timely manner
- Note any other repair, maintenance, or safety concerns observed on customer vehicles and advise service desk
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Maintain cleanliness of service bays and equipment used and shop area generally
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have your own tools
- Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate an asset
- Positive attitude and patience towards the team
- Able to work Saturdays if required
- Dealership experience is an asset
This is a full-time OR part -time position. Technician shift rotation does require working some Saturdays. Compensation will depend on skills and previous experience. Fourth-year apprentices will also be considered.

Salary: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
