P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres is a non-profit, community-based child care organization. We offer programs ranging from Infant to School age at various locations across the Durham Region.

Position: Registered Early Childhood Educator

Location: Uxbridge

Status: Full Time

Hourly Rate: $23.50 per hour plus $2/hour Provincial Wage Enhancement Grant for regular hours worked

What we need from you:

· A passion for working with children

· Strong interpersonal skills to gain the trust and respect of children and their parents

· Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally

· Second Language is an asset

· Demonstrated skills working as a team and enjoy a team environment

· The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

· Experience in planning and implementing programs

· 1 – 3 years experience working in the child care field is preferred

· A current (less than 6 months old) Criminal Check & Vulnerable Sector Search

· CPR / First Aid Level C Certification
