Plan A Glengarry is a long-term care (LTC) staffing strategy that provides a local solution for LTC homes experiencing staffing shortages. Plan A Glengarry is currently looking for Registered Nurses (RN's) to join our qualified, dedicated, and compassionate team of support staff.

S,D& G Locations: Cornwall, Winchester, Hawkesbury, Limoges, Embrun, Clarence Creek, L’Orignal, Long Sault, Morrisburg and more!

Responsibilities

• Ensure that residents are being taken care of according to their needs and following any medical instructions from their physicians accurately and compassionately.
• Observe and report on symptoms and overall conditions of residents.
• Assist in the planning and development of resident care plans.
• Supervise other nursing staff and personal support workers who are assigned to a specific wing or unit.
• Work together with the rest of the staff to ensure that the nursing home runs smoothly and that residents receive outstanding around-the-clock care.
• Refer any problems to the Director of Care.

Documents required

• Diploma/Certificate (no transcripts allowed)
• CNO Certificate
• CPR- current A or C CPR certification
• N95 Mask Fit
• Tuberculosis Skin Test TB 1 & 2 Step (TB1 yearly renewed)
• Covid-19 Vaccination- Proof of 1st & 2nd dose. (Boosters not required)
• Flu shot- Current from this season
• Criminal Record Check- conducted within 1 year before the staff member is hired from Police Department only. (3rd party agencies are not acceptable)
• All other online training will be provided and paid!

Job Type: Casual

Salary: $50.00-$57.00 per hour

• Less than 12 hour notice: extra 7$/hour.
