Position Overview:
The Cancer Program at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is the largest of its kind in Canada, providing more patient visits and involving more cancer doctors and specialists than any other oncology centre in Canada. The Princess Margaret Cancer Program has embarked on a new personalized cancer medicine initiative by creating the Princess Margaret Cancer Consortium (PM2C), a founding member of the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network (MOHCCN). MOHCCN is a national network of leading cancer centres to promote collaborative research and accelerate the discovery of new innovations to improve health outcomes for cancer patients. MOHCCN is a collaborative effort to link and share multi-omic molecular and clinical data across Canada. This network will coalesce individual precision medicine projects throughout Canada, creating a powerful, consolidated and comprehensively annotated dataset. Due to rapid expansion of MOHCCN activities at PM2C, there is a need for a new Research Associate I.
