Retail Freight Associate Job at Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunt is a department store located in Port Colborne. We sell brand name merchandise at extreme value prices and constantly receive new deals!
We are excited to invite you to apply for the position of RETAIL FREIGHT TEAM ASSOCIATE! This role is currently seasonal, but could potentially become a permanent part time position come January.
Responsibilities:
- To work on a team to receive freight from dock area to sales floor, using freight handling equipment, but not limited to: pallet jack and hand truck
- Stock shelves with received merchandise, while maintaining clean appearance of a well organized store
- Help customers with carrying out their purchased products
Requirements:
- Energetic, honest & friendly
- Ability to lift/carry hand freight of varying weights several times a day. Must be able to lift between 15-20 Kg.
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, pushing/pulling freight
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
- Prior retail experience is an asset
