Verdure Wellness Clinic RMT Job Description

Verdure Wellness Clinic offers integrative health services including: naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, nutrition consulting, massage therapy, and chiropractic.

With a large client base and increasing demand, we are looking for a self-motivated massage therapist to join our team.

In this role, you would have the opportunity to leverage your expertise, grow your practice, work alongside other health professionals, and add to the service team.

Massage room includes:

• Reception services including rebooking and cashing out clients, wait list management, payment terminal fees included
• Software access & support for company email, online booking, electronic medical charting, scheduling, and direct billing when applicable
• Linens, lotion, and laundry service
• Large and busy client base already in place
• Marketing of your services
• Flexible schedule: full time or part time hours
• Hydraulic massage table, heating pad, cushions
• Office furniture and equipment including desk, chair, roller stool, speakers and computer

Competitive rate:

• Subcontractor
• Competitive split of client billings or rental fixed fee negotiable for the right candidate

Qualifications:

• Current certificate of registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
• Massage therapy experience (new grads welcome to apply)
• Ongoing marketing of your practice (required)
• Malpractice insurance coverage
• CPR training preferred
• Existing client base (preferred)

Requirements:

• Registered and in good standing with provincial regulator/college and/or association
• Commitment to professionalism, compassion, courtesy and understanding in all patient interactions
• Ability to effectively prioritize, track and be accountable for details, data, information and activities related to managing patient caseloads
• Ongoing marketing of your practice and self-promotion
• Current knowledge regarding massage therapy research, medical trends and attaining optimal health and commitment to continued education
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision

• Massage room is available part time Monday-Friday, and Saturdays by appointment only
• Start date ASAP
