An ideal candidate for our Safety and Compliance Assistant position will have a commitment to safety and a strong sense of responsibility. The Safety and Compliance Assistant is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring that all employees are following workplace policies and procedures. In addition to conducting regular safety checks, the successful applicant will be expected to communicate with employees during emergencies, in addition to scheduling and coordinating training on any necessary safety topics. The Safety and Compliance Assistant would be responsible for vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, GPS administration and monitoring and all other items fleet related.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate safety programs and policies.
- Collect safety data.
- Rate safety procedures using a metric system.
- Audit safety systems.
- Explain safety policies to employees.
- Oversee the installation of new safety systems and equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
