We are looking for a Business Development Representative to drive new business generation through outbound effort. This is a pure hunter role - seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, prospecting tools and other lists. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers. If you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Responsibilities Include:
- Contact potential IT leaders through cold calls, social and emails
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales accepted leads
- Present our companies 30-second commercial to potential clients
- Demonstrate Cinchy to clients at trade shows
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in a number of different verticals
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives/Directors
- Contributing in developing and designing new sequences and processes to help scale the business
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and changes in your assigned industry markets
Nice to Have:
- Previous work experience as a Business Development Representative
- Experience doing a high volume of phone prospecting
- Hands-on experience prospecting for new opportunities using a variety of communication channels (Phone, Email, Social, etc...)
- Experience with sales-related software (e.g. HubSpot)
- Familiarity with GSuite products
- Experience writing prospecting emails is viewed as an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver presentations and demonstrate software
Additional information:
- Salary range starts at $45K + commission
- The position is 100% remote
- Our primary target market is selling our technical solution to IT leaders
