- This will be a hybrid role based in Toronto ( 2 days in the office, 3 remote)
Researches, defines, aligns, develops, and implements product and marketing strategies with P&L (profit and loss) accountability to enable the sales force to effectively sell, fulfill, and service new and existing banking products and improve the customer experience. Carries out market research, forecasting, pricing, campaign planning and execution, and competitive analysis, monitors product and system performance, and assesses problems to develop and implement solutions. Manages product risks in compliance with legal, regulatory, and risk compliance, and reporting. Collaborates with internal partners across the enterprise to launch new products and campaigns.
- Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic challenges and supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Builds effective relationships & ensures alignment with internal/external stakeholders.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
- Supports development & tracking of key metrics and identification of market trends/competitive intelligence
- Resolves internal, first level customer escalations.
- Leads/participates in the design, implementation, and management of core business / group processes.
- Defines and implements business cases and strategic roadmaps for banking products and services.
- Designs, implements, manages, and enhances a single product or suite of products throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develops, implements, and monitors key metrics and action plans to optimize financial performance
- Works with partners to develop salesforce training and materials and manages change.
- Collaborate on the execution of the marketing strategy, including offers and campaigns, and works with Marketing and other partners on end-to-end implementation and change management activities
- Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works both independently and as part of a team/cross-functional group
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Entry level job; post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable.
- Methodology and process – good
- Analytics and reporting – good
- Desirable: Software and systems architecture knowledge – good
- Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
