One Care is a well respected not for profit home care agency providing services to clients in need throughout Huron and Perth counties.

We currently have an opening for a mobility transportation and community services scheduler. This position is currently working remote in response to COVID-19 but will then be based out of our Stratford Office.

AVAILABILITY: 3 Month Contract

HOURS OF WORK: Mon-Fri (shifts include 7.5 rotational shifts from 06:00am - 6:00pm with on call coverage).

SUMMARY:

The scheduling intake coordinator serves as the first contact for Community Support services for clients, caregivers and referral sources and assists them in understanding, accessing and navigating available services and supports. Schedules service delivery in a fast paced team environment for community support services. Works collaboratively and maintains relationships with community support partner agencies. Schedulers must be flexible and able to embrace change in an organization that adapts to the changing needs of the clients we serve.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Scheduling experience is an asset.
• Client focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong proficiency in use of computer (Word, Excel, Microsoft Office) and office equipment.
• Demonstrates problem solving, assess situations, set priorities and decision making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, detail oriented and time management skills.
