Job: Screener

Job Ref. No.: 22/SM/008_IN

Status: Full Time - Temporary for 3 months, with possibility of extension

Core Function:

• To provide active screening of people entering and leaving the facility and administrative support to the Long Term Care Home

Qualifications:

• Completed high school education
• Volunteer or formal training in a health care setting an asset
• An ability to work as a member of an interprofessional team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with pleasant and friendly disposition
• Good judgement and strong decision making skills
• Fluency in English. Ability to speak Chinese an asset

Working Condition:

• Light
• Shift work including days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
• Required to wear personal protective equipment which includes mask, face shield, gloves and gown
