We are looking for a Security Analyst I to join our growing team!

What you’ll do here:

  • Support the security Data Protection team by contributing to the resolution of data security related incidents and provide Tier 2 & Tier 3 support as needed.
  • Participate in the evolution of the strategies, bases, frameworks, objectives and directions of data protection operations.
  • Handle and resolve data protection related security incidents and service requests.
  • Participate in creating and maintaining the documentation related to your activities.
  • Raise awareness about the importance of security within the company.
  • Be willing to learn new technologies.
  • Support to create data metrics & dashboards.
  • Coordinate remediation efforts with subject matter experts.
  • As a member of the operations team participate in an on-call support rotation to ensure 24x7x365 coverage for critical core and customer infrastructure.
  • Handle support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups finished in a timely manner.

What you need:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, relevant degree in Cyber Security field or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • 3+ Experience in IT, preferable in Infrastructure and/or Security.
  • 2+ years of operational experience is required; must have implemented and managed DLP platforms; must possess strong technical knowledge of DLP architecture, deploying policies/rulesets, false positive analysis etc.
  • Knowledge of data discovery, data classification/data labeling/tagging and creating custom policies to using Regular Expression, trainable classifiers, keywords etc.
  • Willing to work in Hybrid model.
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Centre.
  • Demonstrated commitment to training, self-learning and maintaining proficiency in the technical cybersecurity domain.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English preferred) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • Strong analytical skills, positive attitude, team spirit and eagerness to learn.

Assets:

  • Relevant work experience in Information Technology.
  • Basic knowledge of information security management principles and practices.
  • Good knowledge of ethical principles while understanding business and information security ethics.
  • Certifications: Azure Certifications and other security certifications etc.
  • Nice to have experience with other DLP & Data Classification products (O365 E5 capabilities preferred)
  • Experience with Confluence / JIRA or ServiceNow
