Join our growing team to contribute to a better world! We are currently looking for full-time Security Guard for our Chilliwack location.

Reporting to the Operations Management team, the Security Personnel will be responsible for prevention of theft and property vandalism, controlling access to the production facility and restricted areas within, maintain order, enforce security policies, and monitor establishment activities within the facility.

Responsibilities:

· Enforcing theft protocol at the building exit, to ensure all employees leaving the building are wanded and bags are checked for electronic devices or company material.

· Able to diffuse and manage situations as they arise

· Patrolling assigned areas within the facility to ensure the security of employees, business property and equipment against theft and vandalism

· Monitoring security surveillance systems (CCTV)

· To ensure at the end of the day all employees have left the building, check that the bay doors & main doors are locked, set the alarm and close the gates

· May be involved in greeting and managing visitors/contractors to the site and dispatch as necessary

· May be assigned in other administrative tasks as assigned (sign in/out sheets, etc)

Qualifications:

· Minimum 1 year experience with general security practices and procedures

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time

· Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and attention to detail

· Demonstrated pattern of good attendance and work record

· BC Security License

· Willing to undergo a criminal record check clearance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
