The Position:

Logixx Security Inc. is currently hiring for a full time and a Full Time/ Part Time Security Guard to support our operations in the Thompson, Manitoba.

Job description

Working on assigned shifts, you will act as as a physical presence who capable of to secure the assigned site.

The Ideal Security Guard After Training:

• Monitors overall activity on the site to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Maintains strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning trespassing, infractions and enforcement of company/ client procedures rules and regulations.
• Initiate investigations of security-related incidents
• Operate in a professional, business-centered environment where customer service, confidentiality, and integrity are held to a high standard.
• Assist EMS or other officials during emergency situations.
• Perform other related duties and special project functions as assigned.
• Ensure the overall safety and protection of people, property, and equipment at processing plants.
• Demonstrates an extremely strong verbal and written communication.
• Is able to function in stressful environments and under pressure.
• Demonstrates a high level of conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent in security industry standards and methods
• Professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion and the ability to function in stressful situations.
• Must hold and maintain applicable security guard certifications and licenses.
• Dependable team player with business acumen and enthusiasm
• Must be flexible on schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.

- Weekdays and Weekends
- 8.5 hours shifts (8:30 a.m - 5:00 p.m)
- Rate: $16.25 per hour

Requirements for position:

• Manitoba resident or valid work permit, able to relocate
• Take pride in delivering outstanding customer service
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable with radio communication
• Be able to write reports
• Have a keen eye for observing exterior and interior premises
• Approach a situation with a listening mindset
