Cancom Security is hiring Security Guard's in the Ottawa Area! The security guard will conduct access control, provide customer service, ensure regular patrols are completed and maintain detailed logs of incidents working in a high traffic shopping centre.

What you’ll do as the Security Guard:

• You will provide safety and security to all clients.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned job site.
• Maintain detailed notes of all occurrences.
• Patrolling and working in a fast paced environment.
• Radio Communications with team responding to calls.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills with all members of the public
• Organized, punctual and hygienic
• Professional and responsible
• Positive Attitude and a team player
• Great attention to detail
• Teachable and can follow instructions
• Standing/walking for extended periods of time

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Use of Force Certificate (may offer course depending on applicant pool)
• First Aid/CPR
• Smartphone with data
