Looking for a casual, yet professional, team member to join our constantly growing team!

The successful candidate will work directly with clients - both new and existing - and will work with our team of bookkeepers, and tax team. This is a great opportunity to exercise your knowledge, expertise and experience with plenty of hands-on interaction.

You will have the critical responsibility of handling the onboarding of new bookkeeping clients and working with a number of existing clients. You will be required to navigate all of our many apps to ensure a smooth onboarding process. You will be responsible for ensuring you meet all deadlines on a timely basis. You will also be training clients on QuickBooks Online, fixing up files and troubleshooting extensively so your QBO knowledge is our top priority here. This individual will be the first point of contact for new bookkeeping clients and so you will be representing our company to the client, which is of course of the utmost importance.

Our rapidly growing firm has 700+ clients in QuickBooks Online alone, which is the primary accounting system we use. We also use QuickBooks Desktop, Wave, Xero, Sage, etc.

Software Experience:

MUST HAVE CURRENT Quickbooks Online experience

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXTENSIVE QUICKBOOKS ONLINE EXPERIENCE

• 3 years of bookkeeping & QB Online experience at least
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills / Good interpersonal skills; a person who listens well, respects diversity of opinions and has an open, clear communication style.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Highly organized and able to work in a face pace environment with constant change
• Knowledge of principles and practices of GAAP

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING

• At least 3 Years of QuickBooks Online Experience (with more than 1 client)
• Not mandatory, but preferred to have the same amount, or more, of QuickBooks Desktop Experience
• Expert level experience (not just knowledge) of ALL of QBO’s basic and advanced features

o Inventory
o Multi-currency
o Budgeting
o Projects
o Extensive troubleshooting & clean up
o Bank Feeds/Rules etc.

• Must have hands-on experience (not just knowledge) with at least 1 of the following apps, which are sorted by importance:

o Karbon
o Receipt Bank
o HubDoc
o TSheets
o Plooto
o WayPay

• Ability to learn very quickly - We mean it! There are many apps and software that we use regularly, and it changes regularly. This individual must be quick on the uptake as it will be an overwhelming amount of information to take on

• Perform Bookkeeping duties for clients in various industries
• Bank Account and Credit Card reconciliations
• General ledgers, Data entry, journal entries
• Helps to have - Payroll, WSIB, ROE, EHT reporting and filing experience

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week

Salary: $23.00-$33.00 per hour
