Description:
Agilus is recruiting for a
Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer in the
Utilities Industry in
Leduc, Alberta.
The successful candidate is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the risk assessment processes as described by the Company’s Integrity Management Program; leading the development and maintenance of the Company’s Engineering Standards and Procedures with a focus on the technical framework to assist in the energy transition; assisting and other duties as required.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and presenting technical reports and complex system analyses to assist in managing the energy transition
- Reviewing and analyzing information indicating an erosion of performance and physical conditions related to pipeline system assets
- Liaising with numerous government and regulatory bodies, including AUC, Safety Codes Counsel and CGA
- Leading the preparation and development of standardized station and pipeline facilities and new standards for the Company’s SPM
- Leading the preparation and development of standardized station & pipeline facilities and new standards for the Company's Standard Practice Manual (SPM)
- Participating in new business, system betterment and special projects
- Providing guidance and advice for atypical engineering projects
Must have:
- University degree in engineering or equivalent
- Registration with APEGA as a P.Eng
- Minimum of 10 years experience
- Knowledge of Maximo, GIS/ESRI and Synergi Gas would be an asset
- Experience in Pipeline Integrity is required
