The Social Media Specialist creates best-in-the-world content for lululemon's social channels and beyond. This person is a social expert who knows all the right places to source great content and how to bring it to life on channels. You’ll support social asset creation and curation across Campaigns, Programs, or Always On initiatives for North America, whether that’s consulting with Creative Partners on social best practices or working directly with creators to create social-first content. The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, and on the pulse of culture at a global scale.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Support Social Media Leads to bring our Campaigns, Programs or Always On initiatives to life, supporting channel strategy, deliverable lists, creative reviews, and calendar planning.
  • Support reporting of Campaigns, Programs, and Always On initiatives, ensuring that we’re leveraging social data to make informed decisions on campaigns and creative.
  • Develop social creative concepts and content types (owned, earned, and paid social) that answer briefs from the social team to be leveraged across lululemon social platforms and beyond.
  • You partner with Creative, Affiliate, Ambassador, and Relationship teams to create social content for lululemon channels.
  • You produce short form (Reels, TikTok) and long form video content for lululemon social channels.
  • Manage all aspects of production including budget tracking, scheduling, casting, location scouting, styling, shoot execution, payment, and invoices.
  • Ensure projects deliver on time, on budget, and are in line with social strategy and brand creative guidelines.
  • You stay on the pulse of trends and conversation, constantly innovating the way we work and the content we produce.
  • Contribute throughout the process of each project, to ensure we achieve overall objectives and channel KPI’s.
qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in social media/content creation, including both original creative concepting and executing a creative brief
  • Ability to lead and take initiative in a highly cross-functional team environment.
  • You love working in a fast-paced environment. Able to thrive in a growth-stage environment, characterized by rapid pace and change.
  • You’re a strategic problem solver who’s self-motivated, productive, and efficient.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and insatiable thirst for creativity and storytelling. Able to create compelling content, uncover creative angles, and craft interesting stories.
  • You have a sharp eye for detail and are a champion of consistency.
  • Deep ability to collect, analyze, and use social data to affect change.
  • Degree in Marketing is preferred.
