CannAmm LP is seeking an energetic individual to remotely join our IT team. The software development team all work remotely but collaborate on a daily basis using technology. To provide the most comprehensive services possible, we work closely with our clients to develop drug-free workplace programs that address the concerns and specific requirements of our client, their employees, and industry regulators.
This position reports to the Director of IT and will work closely with the Business Analyst, Operations and Network support group as well as 3rd party development consultants.
The ideal Software Developer will have a strong background working with Microsoft’s .NET stack, SQL, and SQL reporting services. As a Software Developer, your role will be to assist in Planning, designing, developing, enhancing and maintaining custom solutions that are scalable and reliable. The position will also assist in development of supporting documentation to describe the applications and operating procedures for all developed solutions.
Current solutions and development are being done in Microsoft NET Framework 4.8, SQL, Entity Framework 6, C#, Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipelines, Angular 12+, Angular Material, HTML5, CSS. Support for legacy systems using ASP.NET WebForms, JavaScript and AngularJS 1.7 would be considered an asset.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years' experience in software development
- Work effectively within timelines and delivery requirements.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, and can clearly communicate your ideas.
- SharePoint designer experience
- Planning and writing SQL queries
- Assisting in database design
- working with SQL triggers
- SSIS scripts
- Experience using SSRS
- Planning and writing code in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework 4.8, Entity Framework, and Angular 2+ using Visual Studio 2019 and Visual Studio Code
MAJOR FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Software Development
- Plan and write SQL queries and assist in database design
- Work with SQL triggers and SSIS scripts
- Plan and write code using technologies including but not limited to the above qualifications.
- Work with Azure DevOps
- Design new features optimizing data flow for users
- Repair program bugs and defects
- Improve performance and remove bottle necks in code
- Assist in deployment and customization of software solutions including but not limited to,
- SharePoint
- Custom in house applications
- Version control
- Maintenance of developed solutions
Documentation for Developed Solutions
- Assist in documenting user manuals
- Maintain detailed documentation on development processes
- Update and maintain all necessary product documentation
- User manuals
- Developer manuals
