JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In collaboration with the Inbound Team, participate in the development of warehouse strategies, process improvement and standardized business processes across Canada
- Act as a resource person key financial and inventory management process in accordance with business rules and established good practices
- As a member of the Senior Inbound Team, they would initiate important discussions with all stakeholders, engage other departments, share the team vision, ask for support and assistance, person who can navigate well internally and build a compelling vision and direction for the team
- Understand and improve operations through the identification of key standardized processes in the daily execution of all materials warehouses across Canada
- Work closely to build a team that follow a structured process by implementing monitoring and analysis tools in order to ensure the optimal execution of operations
- Provide leadership and motivation to each region in a positive and collaborative atmosphere that supports our strategy; People, Process Technology:
- Inspire, develop and engaged a capable team while developing and building tangible development plans and succession planning.
- Actively participate in the creation and delivery of critical investment projects and prioritize efforts in the budgeting and planning exercises to maximize value and key implementations
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: University degree, Business and Industry related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in logistics/supply chain operations. Demonstrated ability to lead an operations facility with direct supervisory experience in a unionized environment. Strong leadership skills required.
- Proven ability to manage warehouse operations in a high volume environment, including leadership of a large hourly workforce. Demonstrated operational excellence.
- Respected and trusted leader with a proven track record of achievement, solid technical skills and a reputation as a leader of change.
