Required Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License as travel is required for this position

An equivalent combination of education, experience, and knowledge acceptable by the College may also be considered.

Job Description
Keyano College is a comprehensive community institution in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Keyano College is currently seeking a Student Recruitment Coordinator. This position will serve as Keyano College’s representative in the community, at career and education fairs, and in high schools throughout the designated province, region and beyond. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the recruitment of domestic and international students by liaising with schools and recruitment agencies. Reporting to the Director, International Education, Global Citizenship & Student Life, this position is responsible for executing recruitment initiatives, engaging potential students, liaising with schools and international recruitment agents, and marketing the College and its programs at a variety of special events and venues. In addition, working evenings and during the weekends to engage with stakeholders may be required.

The Student Recruitment Coordinator may be required to advise potential and current students, acting as a Student Advisor and working closely with the Student Recruitment Coordinator and International Programs Coordinator to assess individual’s needs, goals, interests and prior academic/non-academic experiences to effectively broaden the student’s ability to successfully designate and or implement an individualized educational plan. The Student Recruitment Coordinator will be required to work both independently and with a team.
This is a term position ending on or before June 30, 2023 with a possibility of an extension.

Advertised Salary
CUPE IS5 $5,038.34 per month and includes a comprehensive health and benefit package. This position qualifies for the Northern Living Allowance of $1,040.00 per month. This allowance is reviewed annually and is subject to budget approval.
