Established in 2007, Thornbury Craft Co. is a leader in the craft beverage industry with award winning ciders, beers, and seltzers. We proudly craft our cider and seltzers in our state-of-the-art production facility amidst 7,500 acres of apple orchards, in the heart of apple country. Using only the finest apples these orchards have to offer, we have created premium, easy drinking, crisp, and refreshing ciders.

Our beer is carefully handcrafted, and we are committed to crafting small batch craft beer. Our commitment to quality has put Thornbury Craft Co. on the award winning map. Our beers are now brewed on site in our 5,000 sq.ft. purpose built brewery.

We are looking to fill a position immediately in our production team.

The position hours are generally Monday – Friday day shift (8:00am – 4:30pm).

The typical daily responsibilities include:

· Produce required beer, wine and cider packaging requirements as per the production plan

· Ensure all liquid and packaging QC checks are completed and documented

· Ensure all cider making and packaging equipment is kept clean and properly maintained

· All packaging material is organized and loaded as per procedures

· Ensure inventory accuracy of finish goods and packaging materials

· Safe operation of filling/seaming/crowning equipment to ensure correct fill levels.

· Performing quality assurance checks on finished packaged goods.

· Loading and palletizing cases.

· Loading and unloading products in a safe manner, using provided tools as appropriate (e.g. dollies, lifts, etc.)

· Responsible for ensuring all company policies, procedures, and applicable industry policies and regulations are followed

Qualifications:
· A self-starter with high energy levels and a “does what it takes” attitude
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

· Effective organizational skills

· Experience with a forklift is an asset.

· Good physical condition, required to regularly lift up to 25kg.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced/demanding environment
