The goal of our Summer Student Program is to develop the leaders of tomorrow by providing meaningful work experiences that allow students to gain valuable industry knowledge from all levels of the organization. The Students will have the opportunity to grow their professional network, give back to the community, and gain real world skills that will enhance their knowledge applicable to their studies.

Interested?

Working with and under the supervision of the Maintenance team, you will be assisting with various maintenance tasks at the Moose Jaw Refinery, as well as provide documentation support for the maintenance department staff.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform groundskeeping maintenance duties. Mow lawn and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. Landscape by planting flowers and grass.
• Maintain sprinkler system
• Perform clean up duties in all plant areas
• WHMIS Program - assist with the update WHMIS Binders and SDS
• Perform miscellaneous painting onsite (bollards, pipe supports, tripping hazards)

What You'll Bring

• Familiar with the proper use of tools and equipment used in groundskeeping maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and responsible for the work performed.
• Proficient use of MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Familiar with tools and equipment used in maintenance
• Must be familiar with the operation, location and requirements of safety equipment
• Must hold a valid drivers license

Working Conditions
