We’re looking for engaging Campus Security Supervisors
In this role, it is essential that the individual have an unwavering commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Provides initial and ongoing training to Campus Guards
Maintain licence and certification records for the Campus Guards
Assists with the preparation of schedules and requests for time off
Ensure daily work, projects, and reports are completed and submitted in a timely fashion
Ensures each shift is properly staffed and deportment requirements are followed
Coordinates extra coverage security services as required
Maintains positive, effective working relationships with all stakeholders
Assists the security leadership team with consistent application of policies
Regularly reviews, updates the post orders and standard operating procedures
Ensures all daily/monthly/quarterly audit activities are completed
Completes daily/monthly/quarterly reporting as required
Operate as a member of the Emergency Response Team
Reporting occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations
Exposure to Fire, and Life & Safety systems
Available to work all shifts including holidays, weekends, nights, and evenings
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in Law Enforcement/Security or equivalent
Previous leadership experience
Prior work experience in a high paced customer service-oriented environment
A history of thriving in stressful situations
Valid provincial Security Guard Licence
Valid First Aid, CPR level C, AED certifications
Knowledge and application of Municipal, Provincial, and Federal statutes with attention to the Trespass to Property Act
WHMIS and other safety courses an asset
CCure and IndigoVision experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
As part of the recruitment process, complete a background check which includes credit and criminal checks.
