Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Tableau Expert for one of our clients in the National Capital Region. This work can be done remotely.

The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement Of Work” but are not limited to:

The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the Bank:
Under the direction of Director, Digital Technology:

• Implement the new Tableau architecture in the Bank technical ecosystem
• Participate actively in all technical architecture, design, and hands-on implementation aspects to ensure

that the solutions meet the objectives and align with the defined architectures of the Bank’s Cyber
Security initiatives and vision

• Design and implement working proof-of-concept solutions
• Author conceptual, logical, and physical solution architectures and detailed design specifications that

meet Cyber Security strategic and tactical objectives while adhering to enterprise architecture standards

• Provide expertise and guidance for all technical planning and integration activities
• Play an active role in ensuring that the integration of services, data flow and infrastructure architectures

are designed and implemented to meet evolving business/operational requirements and standards for
reliability, scalability, and availability

• Perform technical analysis and providing feasibility estimates
• Monitor and analyze application system performance and implement corrective measures and

application code changes, as appropriate

• Assist in research and monitor technology developments, industry trends and DevOps innovations to

assess their applicability, functionality, and reliability for the Bank, and recommend solutions that help
clients enhance productivity and achieve their business objectives while reducing the likelihood of cyber
enterprise risks

• Assist to ensure that the chosen solutions are closely aligned with the Bank’s Cyber Security initiatives

and vision

• Other activities and deliverables, as required

Required Qualifications & Skills
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:

• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience in Data Visualization and Solutions.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience with Tableau products (Desktop, Public, Server,

Online, and Reader)

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience designing and implementing high availability BI solutions
• Demonstrated understanding of data querying and ability to read SQL statements

Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:

• Demonstrated ability communicate at all levels of an organization
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and conceptualize solutions
• Programming languages (Python and R) will be considered an asset
