Technical Support II, IT OperationsJob Description
The Technical Support II, IT Operations will coordinate IT inventory and provide computer equipment to other sites and remote employees.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist with shipping & receiving of Technology Hardware
- Manage inventory in/out of the Canadian Depot to/from other sites and employees
- Maintain accurate inventory within the IT Asset Management tool
- Configure and ship PC’s running Windows OS or Mac OS
- Assist with IT initiatives for the Concentrix Oshawa site
- Provide support to IT Management and Customers
- Receive, clean and test incoming equipment from existing and terminated employees
- Troubleshoot and escalate any imaging issues
- Provide inventory updates in a timely manner to ensure there’s no shortages of equipment or shipping supplies
- Dispose of out of spec equipment in compliance with Concentrix policies
- Upgrade computer equipment as needed
- Respond to escalations in a timely manner
Candidate Profile:
- 3 years supporting desktop/laptop hardware and software in a Windows/Mac based environment
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Windows and Mac configuration/troubleshooting
- Customer focused attitude
