Job Description

In this role you will be on the road Monday to Friday, delivering our trailers to various dealers and picking up loads on the return trip when available.

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid Class 1 Licence
• 3-5 years documented driving experience (Claims Experience Letter)
• Accident/Ticket free drivers abstract
• Proficient in English spoken and written
• Ability to focus attention on details of the job and maintain an efficient pace
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to work long hours
• Loader experience
• Must present a professional appearance
• Ability to travel into the USA

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in early morning team huddle/stretch
• Oversee loading/Unloading of product
• Strap down and properly secure loads
• Conduct pre-trip equipment inspections daily
• Complete all trip reports as per company and industry requirements
• Delivers/picks up multiple loads weekly
• Communicates with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning and pickup
• Laisse with clients on site as required ensuring satisfaction of delivery.
• Follow company safety policy as all related industry regulations
• Report all incidents, near misses and hazards
• Be a safety role model
