Truck Driver - Owner & Operator Job at Genesus Inc
Genesus Inc. Is a leading swine genetic company and is looking for an Owner & Operator Truck Driver. This Individual will be responsible for animal health and welfare, understanding and following biosecurity measures, maintaining detailed paperwork (log book), maintaining their power unit and the company trailer, and physical labor including loading/unloading breeding stock at various locations. The ideal person for this job will understand customer service and will be able to represent Genesus Inc. in a professional manner while delivering breeding stock to the customer’s place of business.
Ideally, this person resides in South-Eastern Manitoba. This position reports to the Logistics Manager based in Oakville, Manitoba.
The remuneration and benefits package is highly competitive within the livestock transportation industry.
Class A-1 and a valid passport is required. Applicant subject to drug testing. This Individual must be able to drive across Canada and into the USA, therefore they must be fully vaccinated.
