Job Summary

Belterra's Prince George, BC location is looking for a Shop Worker/Warehouseman Worker to join its team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, diligent, and highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role incorporates warehouse responsibilities and slitting conveyor belt duties so the ideal candidate must be able to juggle multiple responsibilities and be willing to take ownership of a full-range of warehouse duties.

Main Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Experience (small engines, diagnostics, electrical, general vehicle maintenance, etc) would be a great asset
• Receive & tag incoming products accurately and in a timely manner
• Ship outgoing products accordingly (ie. include MSDS, obtain freight quotes)
• Complete waybills and Work Orders accurately • Purchase of all required shipping supplies
• Maintain goods received & store in yard
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and slitting permits correspond to the attached Work Orders
• Cutting various types of belting and related materials
• Ensure vehicles, warehouse and yard are secured at end of each day
• Help maintain inventory levels on all stocked products in the warehouse
• Maintain records (ie. slitting log, belts back list)
• Ensure the best usage of current / existing inventory
• Measure and confirm incoming rolls of belt • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification, WHMIS, TDG
• Similar warehouse experience required
• Experience in belt slitting
