At the deerfoot inn and casino We’re Fun. We are looking for energetic career minded individual. You will work as part of a highly motivated kitchen team with the deerfoot inn and casino. This position is primarily nights starting any where between 1-3 pm nightly. You will need to work weekends and will have two days off a week. This position is Full time

Summary of Responsibilities:

· Prepare your station daily

· Assist putting orders away with FIFO

· Attend to customers dietary needs

· Operating basic kitchen equipment

· Making lists for preparing and ordering of product

· Communicate bill times with other cooks online

· Deal with complaints and remakes in a professional timely manner

· Prepare menu items in accordance with recipes and pictures

· Looking professional, clean, and proper uniform always

· Communicate any equipment needs, repairs needed to supervisor

· Able to work unsupervised

· Able to organize, plan and execute at a high level

· Additional responsibilities as asked by sous chef

Requirements:

· The successful applicant must have 2 or more year’s kitchen Line cook experience.

· must be good under pressure and able to work in a fast-paced environment

· must be open to new ideas

· must have good knife skills

· must have good organizational skills

· must be able to work as part of a team

· has basic supervisory skills

· red seal papers are recommended

· Must be available to work a variety of shifts and weekends

· Must be committed and dedicated to work and show up on time every day
