310T Mechanic
PWTransit is seeking an experienced 310T Mechanic to join our transit operation in Milton, ON. This is a full-time permanent position that will be responsible for maintenance of the Milton Transit fleet. The hours of operations are 5:00 am to 10:00 pm. The successful mechanic will work 8 hours shifts. Shifts will occur Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required.

Responsibilities include:
- Safety
- Standard maintenance repairs
- Parts procurement
- Record keeping
Compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as the Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations governing the location is a must.
Qualifications:
This job requires a 310T Truck and Coach Technician certificate and no more than 3 demerit points. The ideal candidate would have experience in conventional or custom transit vehicle maintenance. The ability to work independently, strong time management skills and well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must to be successful in this position.
Preference will be given to candidates with a valid inspector's license and a commercial driver's license.
Comprehensive screening and background checks are required, including drug, alcohol and criminal record checks.
