HGC Management Inc. Belleville has a position available for a class “G” licence driver.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driver to support the functions of our operations and recycling teams. Experience preferred but will consider training. Under the general direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Driver is responsible for picking-up of product throughout the Quinte Region.

Hourly rate:$ 16.95 - $ 18.93 per hour

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Drive a 5-ton truck with lift gate.

· Pick up a variety of items from various local locations.

· Physical labor/handling of materials weighing upwards of 50-75 lbs.

· Load & unload pick-ups with the safe use of a 5-ton lift gate, pump cart/hand cart and the use of a gas forklift

· Loading & unloading, and securing merchandise

· Maintain an accurate variety of daily paperwork and turn in accordingly.

· Performing all customer tasks in a polite, resourceful, and professional manner with professionalism and overall excellent customer service throughout the process.

· Perform daily commercial vehicle inspection to ensure operational safety

· Any other duties as required, various jobs throughout the Belleville Facility of HGC Management Inc. including sorting, yard work, paper sort, helper on the trucks, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:

· Valid G drivers’ licence

· A clean drivers abstract

· At least 1 year's worth of 5-ton truck driving experience (Preferred)

· Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

· Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.

· Reliable and strong work ethic.

· Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.

· Must have good listening and verbal communication skills.

Schedule:

· 8-hour shift (Monday – Friday)

· Shift: 6:30am – 3:30pm approximately.

· The office will attempt to keep the schedule to be completed by 3:30 pm, however as a driver you will be required to complete your runs which may require you to stay past your shift (overtime) on short notice.
