Homeland Housing offers a variety of housing and care options, including independent seniors’ apartments, supportive living, affordable housing for seniors, community affordable housing, and designated supportive living 3 and 4. We serve nine Alberta communities – Westlock, Legal, St. Albert, Morinville, Clyde, Jarvie, Bon Accord, Redwater, and Gibbons.
The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills and portray a high level of professionalism. Duties include general reception tasks, conducting tours for prospective tenants and their families, assisting with Move Ins, Move Outs, and rent calculations, create, and maintain schedules in PayWorks, and check time sheets prior to submission, responsible for petty cash and preparing bank deposits, responding to public inquiries and attend to other pertinent duties as requested by the Area Manager. You will be a team player, working closely with the Administration and Finance teams to provide assistance with projects including work of a highly confidential nature. You must posses strong verbal and written communication skills, a pleasant telephone manner and be well organized.
Skills required:
- Minimum of two (2) year’s office experience, preferably in a health, seniors, or housing field.
- Formal office/administrative training/courses.
- Basic IT skills and knowledge is required.
- Proficient typing and computer skills – Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible in performing responsibilities both independently and within a team environment.
- Experience with YARDI® software preferred
- Genuine interest and empathy for seniors and others in need.
This position offers:
- Wage Rate: Start $23.21
- 75 hours bi-weekly
- Day Shift (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Monday to Friday, with some flexibility
