DIVISION
The Service Delivery Division provides income and disability assistance services online, by phone, or face to face in our communities. We strive to ensure our services are reliable, responsive, inclusive and accessible to all British Columbians who need our support.
The Strategic Services Branch supports the Division’s strategic planning process, legislation, policy, service delivery, and system implementations, stakeholder relations and, optimization and modernization of services.
The Storyline Developer will lead the creation of interactive eLearning courses for a large service delivery division with more than 1400 staff. The position will appeal to someone who can juggle multiple priorities, has great communication and listening skills, collaborates effectively with colleagues, is a solid writer, and highly creative with strong graphic design skills. They are comfortable working by themselves and as part of a team in a remote work environment, have a good understanding of adult learning principles, and are passionate about the impact of online learning.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree in media development, instructional design, or related or equivalent experience plus at least 2 years of experience in creating visual and interactive content for adult learners using Articulate Storyline; OR a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience using other multimedia development tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and PowerPoint.
- A proven track record and portfolio of work demonstrating experience in graphic design and developing eLearning courses in Articulate Storyline and other multimedia tools. (A portfolio demonstrating your skills must be submitted).
Preference may be given to applicants with 1 or more of the following:
- Video creation and editing experience
- Experience visualizing information and tell great stories to help people learn concepts and establish good patterns of practice
