About the Job
European Autobody is seeking a Autobody Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will be encircled by over 45 years of experience, under 11 premium dealerships offering the most extensive selection of luxury, sport and quality automobiles in the local area.

Responsibilities:
- Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with factory and Company standards;
- Examine vehicle to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the estimate;
- Review damage reports and estimates, and plan work to be performed;
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning, completion of work, dimensional accuracy;
- Fit and weld replacement parts into place, using wrenches and welding equipment, and grind down welds to smooth them, using power grinders and other tools;
- Install vehicle parts or accessories;
- Remove damaged sections of vehicles using metal-cutting guns, air grinders and wrenches, and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment;
- Remove and re-insall body parts for repair (fenders, bumpers, doors, trunk lids, hood, fender, etc.)
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.

- Technically knowledgeable, experienced,
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Manual dexterity
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Ability to follow all safety procedures
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to lift moderate weight with assistance
- Good visual acuity to assess work performance
