Position: Lounge Assistant - Beverages

Overall responsibility:

Take orders and prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (coffee, bubble teas, and other specialty items) for customers.

Key Areas of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and take orders in a friendly manner.
  • Craft beverages according to recipes and customers' special requests.
  • Prepare ingredients for beverage-making according to recipes.
  • Knowledgeable in the beverages menu and able to explain to customers.
  • Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
  • Maintain bar inventory by replenishing stock when needed from storage
  • Wash dishes, tools, and equipnments to ensure the bar be clean and dry at all time.
  • To be able to work as a team and assist other colleagues with different responsibilities
  • To identify areas for improvement and participate in continual improvement activities.
  • Ensure that proper cleaning procedures are adhered to and personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times during the shift. Employees are expected to follow all health and safety regulations, enforced and updated by the company.
  • To undertake other jobs assigned by superior from time to time, such as cover duties for colleagues during their break time.
  • Always ensure that you clean and sanitize your work area (including dishes, tools and equipment) before the shift ends.

Requirements:

  • Strong sense of customer service.
  • Proficiency in English is compulsory.
  • Must hold Serving it Right or willing to obtain one.
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated.
  • High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Able to stand for long hours.
  • Able to lift up 20 lbs baggage.
  • Flexible availabilities, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine recognized by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
