You are a people person with problem solving skills. You know when to listen and when to act. As a CareCoach you report to the CareCoach Team Leader. You conduct telephone intake assessments and apply Health Care modification models (ie. Motivational interviewing, stages of change, relapse prevention) to facilitate the participants' behavior change.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Mental Health related discipline or equivalent work or volunteer experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Human Social Services experience, counseling or facilitation experience.
- Experience utilizing Motivational Interviewing techniques or equivalent coaching experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of addiction issues, treatments and recovery processes.
- Previous call centre experience an asset.
- Bilingual French/English is an asset.
