Elliott Mumford Contracting Ltd. is hiring Supervisors, Carpenters and Apprentices for projects in Kamloops and throughout British Columbia and Alberta. We have multiple commercial, residential and industrial projects throughout both provinces. These projects will all be travel in travel out shift work with shifts ranging from 14-7 to 21-7 depending on site and demand.

The position would include some or all of the below duties:

-Install Concrete Formwork

-Install and tie steel reinforcment

-Place and Finish Concrete

-Install Building Envelope and Cladding

-Wood Framing

-Installation and demolition of EPDM flat roofs

-Interior finishing

-Interior systems including drywall, flooring paint, T-bar ceilings

-Modular installations including crane-ons, block and levels, skidded units

-Maintenance to modular buildings and camps

-Reading and interpreting plans

-Daily clean-up and labour work as required

-Operating equipment including skid steers, AWP’s and telehandlers

We are seeking candidates with the following attributes and abilities:

-Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation

-Safety oriented

-Physically abled to complete physically demanding tasks and lift as much as 50 pounds

-Great attitude and ability to function as part of a team answering to leadership, co workers and management

-Comfortable working at heights

-Ability to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol screening

-Ability to read and interpret plans

-Willingness to learn company systems

-AWP, RTFL, Skid Steer, Fall Protection tickets an asset

-Trade Certification an asset
